Burnside is widely regarded in the whisky community as an independent bottling (IB) of Balvenie, subtly blended with a trace of Glenfiddich – both from the same parent company, William Grant & Sons. This blending technique is believed to be a deliberate measure to preserve Balvenie’s brand exclusivity, while still allowing the whisky to be sold under a different label.

This particular release is a 28-Year-Old Burnside, finished in rare sherry casks, which impart a deep, alluring color and rich complexity to the whisky. The design features the iconic and universally loved Bearbrick figure, combining artistic flair with collectible value. Strictly limited to only 300 sets worldwide, it is a coveted piece for both whisky collectors and design aficionados.
